Philomath pitcher Ryan Kildea warms up between innings at the playoff game on friday evening, at Philomath High School. The home team went on to beat Hidden Valley 9-8 after Kildea hit an over the fence home run in the bottom of the final inning. Philomath's next game, the state semi-final, is set to be played on June 1st.

An Albany Police officer controls traffic after a small car accident on the corner of SW Ellingson rd. and highway 99E near LBCC.  The collision occurred Monday afternoon, and involved at least one Linn Benton Student.
